KPI Matrix
Turn the work your people already do — attendance, tasks, projects, tickets, timesheets, leave, discipline and certifications — into a fair, automatic performance score, and a defensible path from that score to a salary step.
The KPI Matrix is ERPat's employee-performance-management module. It reads operational data you are already capturing across the system, converts it into 29 metrics grouped into 8 categories, normalizes every metric onto one 1.00–5.00 scale, weights them per a template, and rolls everything up into a single composite score and rating for each employee, each review cycle. That composite can then generate an advisory salary-step recommendation a manager approves or rejects.
Two audiences, two doors
The module shows a completely different surface depending on your permission. Almost everyone is an employee who only ever sees their own numbers; a smaller group are managers/HR who run the whole cycle.
Sees a read-only “KPIs” tab on their own Team-Member profile: their composite score, rating band, a score-trend line across cycles, and a per-category breakdown. No sidebar entry, nothing to configure. Covered in Your Performance.
Gets the full KPI Matrix sidebar group: Overview, Team Matrix, Review Cycles, Templates and Recommendations — where they design scorecards, run cycles, calculate scores, and approve salary steps.

off, the sidebar group, the profile tab and the APIs all disappear. See

The 60-second mental model
Everything in the module is one loop. You build a scorecard once (the Template), open a Cycle for a period, Assign people to it, the engine Calculates their scores from existing data, and the results feed dashboards and salary recommendations.

The one legend you'll use everywhere
Every composite score, category score and metric score lands in one of five rating bands. This colour language runs through the whole module — dashboards, tables, badges, and the salary engine.
