ERPat Module
Webmail
Read and send your company email without leaving ERPat.
What it is. Webmail connects ERPat to your organisation's existing mail server. It is a mail client — like Outlook or Thunderbird — not a mail service. Your messages stay on your mail server; ERPat shows them to you.
Who this is for
| If you are… | Start here |
|---|---|
| An employee who wants to read work email in ERPat | Getting Started, then Daily Use |
| An administrator setting Webmail up for the first time | Administration |
| Someone troubleshooting a problem | FAQ & Troubleshooting |
What it does
- Shows your mailbox folders, messages and attachments inside ERPat.
- Lets you read, star, delete and reply to mail.
- Sends through your organisation's own mail server, so replies come from your real address.
What it deliberately does not do
It does not store your mail in ERPat. Messages are read from your mail server each time you open them. If your ERPat account were closed tomorrow, your mail would be untouched — it was never copied here.
Administrators cannot read your mail. They can connect, replace or revoke the password ERPat uses for your mailbox, but there is no screen anywhere in ERPat that shows one person another person's messages.
Where to go next
Connect your mailbox for the first time.
Reading, replying, searching and attachments.
Server setup, credentials, bulk import, permissions.
