What this module does
Point of Sale (POS) is the till your store uses to ring up sales, take payment, print receipts, and account for cash at the end of the day. It runs inside ERPat, so every sale immediately draws down store stock and feeds head-office reports without any separate spreadsheet or export.
The Register is a fast, no-reload screen: you scan or search for products, build a cart, apply discounts, take one or more payment methods, and print a receipt. Because the running totals are calculated by the server, the amount you see on screen is always exactly what the customer will be charged.
POS is built for the Philippine retail floor. Prices are treated as VAT-inclusive, receipts show VATable, VAT-exempt and zero-rated sales, and Senior Citizen / PWD discounts (20% off with VAT removed) are handled for you when you capture the holder's name and ID.
Who uses it
- Cashiers open a shift, process sales, hold and resume carts, take cash in and out of the drawer, and print receipts.
- Store supervisors review shift closings and cash variances, approve voids and refunds, and read store reports.
- Head-office / admin staff set up stores, regions, terminals, and each store's product assortment before the floor goes live.
Which stores you can operate is controlled by your store assignment, and what you can do (sell, discount, void, refund, approve) is controlled by your permissions.

Related modules
POS shares one stock truth with Warehouse (every sale reduces the store's backing warehouse balance) and draws its products from Inventory. It also links with Sales for the underlying store records. Because stock is shared, the Warehouse module must be active for the Register to open.
