Report layout for managers who only need exceptions

Managers are asking for shorter reports that show only exceptions. What fields do you include so the report still has enough context?

Include employee, branch, schedule, exception type, current approver and aging. That gives managers enough context to act quickly.

We also add a notes column. It reduces back-and-forth when HR already knows the reason for an exception.

For payroll, aging is critical. Exceptions older than two days get escalated before cutoff week.
