About this course
Excel remains the everyday workhorse of Philippine HR and payroll teams, even in companies running a full HRIS. This course builds the practical spreadsheet muscle memory analysts need: pulling clean data from exports, matching records across sheets, summarizing headcount and payroll movement, and presenting numbers management can trust.
Rather than teaching Excel as an abstract tool, every lesson uses realistic HR scenarios: 201 file trackers, payroll registers, SSS/PhilHealth/Pag-IBIG contribution schedules, and monthly headcount reports for management committees.
- Use VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, and XLOOKUP to reconcile employee and payroll data across sheets
- Build pivot tables to summarize headcount, attrition, and payroll cost by department
- Clean messy exports from biometric, payroll, and HRIS systems before analysis
- Reconcile payroll registers against statutory contribution schedules
- Design management-ready dashboards using conditional formatting and charts
- Apply data validation and protection to reduce errors in shared HR files

Solid fundamentals course, though as someone already comfortable with pivot tables I wished the later modules went a bit deeper into automation.
