About this course
Every employee is a target for cybercriminals, whether they realize it or not. This course builds the everyday habits that keep your accounts, your devices, and your company's data safe from common attacks like phishing emails, credential theft, and unsafe file sharing.
Through practical, non-technical lessons, you will learn how to recognize suspicious messages, follow your company's security policies, and know exactly what to do when something looks wrong. No IT background is needed.
- Recognize phishing emails, texts, and phone scams
- Create and protect strong passwords and multi-factor authentication
- Use company and personal devices safely, including on public Wi-Fi
- Understand your responsibilities under the Data Privacy Act (RA 10173)
- Follow company security policies for email, file sharing, and remote work
- Report suspected security incidents quickly and correctly

The phishing examples in Module 2 were exactly like the emails I get at work, I finally understand what to actually look for instead of just guessing.
Good content overall, though a few of the videos felt a little slow paced for someone who already knew the basics of password security.
Really solid overview of the Data Privacy Act as it applies to daily work tasks. I wish there was a bit more detail on handling paper documents, but overall very useful.
