How it's calculated
- • Net payable hours = (time out − time in) − unpaid break.
- • If time out is earlier than time in, the shift is treated as ending the next day (overnight).
- • Hours up to 8 are regular; hours beyond 8 are flagged as overtime (premium computed separately).
