About this role

We are seeking a skilled and passionate PHP Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with popular PHP frameworks like CodeIgniter and Laravel and be proficient in developing and managing WordPress websites. Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as Angular or Vue.js will be considered a strong advantage.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, and maintain web applications using PHP frameworks such as CodeIgniter and Laravel.
  • Build and customize WordPress themes, plugins, and websites to meet client requirements.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
  • Ensure code quality, performance optimization, and best practices in development.
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues in a timely manner.
  • Stay updated on emerging web technologies and trends to implement innovative solutions.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience in PHP development with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
  • Expertise in CodeIgniter, Laravel, and WordPress development.
  • Basic understanding of front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript).
  • Knowledge of modern front-end frameworks such as Angular or Vue.js is a plus.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
  • Knowledge of database systems such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
  • Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
